Well Spotted shows flight schedules and history to people who love aviation. Enjoy it, and use it with care. Effective 20 October 2026.
Where the data comes from
Schedules come from AeroDataBox, a year of flight history from the volunteer ADS-B receivers of ADSB.lol (© ADSB.lol contributors, ODbL), and the weather from MET Norway (CC BY 4.0) and NOAA. Data can be incomplete, delayed or wrong.
What "rare" means
Rarity is worked out automatically from how often an airline, an aircraft type, a route and an aircraft have come to that airport in the last year. Schedules change and aircraft get swapped, so a rare flight is a strong hint, not a promise that it will turn up.
Not for operational use
Well Spotted is not an official record, a flight-status service or a navigation or safety service. Do not rely on it for travel or decisions about any flight.
Well Spotted Pro
Well Spotted Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly, at the price shown before you buy it. Payment is charged to your Google Play or App Store account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and the renewal is charged within the 24 hours before that period ends. Where a free trial is offered, it becomes a paid subscription when it ends unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before. Manage or cancel it in your Google Play or App Store account (in the app: Settings, then Well Spotted Pro). Deleting the app does not cancel it. Refunds are decided by Google or Apple under their own rules. What Pro includes is listed where it is offered and may grow or change as Well Spotted does.
At the airport
Spot from public places, follow the airport's rules and the police's directions, and never enter restricted areas or private land. Behind every flight there are crews and passengers.
The licence
If you got Well Spotted from the App Store, Apple's standard licence agreement for apps also applies. Well Spotted is provided as it is, without any promise that it will always be available or correct, to the extent the law allows.
