Privacy Policy
Well Spotted is made by Apptractor and collects as little as it can. There is no sign-in, no account, no ads and no analytics in the app. Effective 20 October 2026.
On this phone
The airports you follow, the one you last opened, the theme you chose, whether you have seen the welcome and the flight reminders you set are kept in the app on this phone. Reminders are scheduled by the phone itself; nothing about them is sent anywhere.
When you open an airport
The app reads that airport's days (flights, rarity, weather and light) from Google Cloud Firestore, part of Google Firebase. When a day is missing or out of date, the app asks for it by leaving a request that names only the airport, the day and the time. The request carries nothing about you and is deleted as soon as it is served. Google sees your phone's network address while serving these requests, as any web service does.
Well Spotted Pro
Well Spotted Pro is bought through Google Play or the App Store, which take the payment; Well Spotted never sees your payment details. RevenueCat, which manages the subscription, receives the store's record of your purchase with an anonymous id for this install, which holds no name, email address or phone number. Google, Apple and RevenueCat handle it under their own privacy policies.
Where the flights come from
Well Spotted's server, not your phone, fetches the schedules (AeroDataBox), the weather (MET Norway and NOAA) and the flight history (ADSB.lol). None of them receives anything about you.
This website
wellspotted.one counts visits with Vercel Web Analytics, without cookies and without anything that names you.
Children
Well Spotted is meant for people aged 13 and over and is not directed at children.
Removing your data
Deleting the app removes everything it kept on the phone. Well Spotted keeps nothing about you on its own servers.
Changes and questions
When what Well Spotted collects changes, this page changes with it, and the date above. Questions about your privacy: team@apptractor.dev. If you write to us, we use your email address and message only to answer.
